Admission is $10 for shoppers, who will have the opportunity to shop at local vendors from across the state of Louisiana. The Christmas Market is an event not to miss, featuring one-of-a-kind goods and family-friendly activities.

“This event is going to be so much fun,” Equine Sales & Events Center Coordinator Wendy Fryer said. “It will promote small businesses in the area, bring in revenue for these individuals and create more than a few repeat customers for our vendors.

“Because we have a variety of vendors and goods being sold – from delicious foods, to clothing, jewelry, pottery and more – the Christmas Market is a one-stop destination for all kinds of holiday shopping needs.”

Shop Local, Enjoy a Drink & Have Fun

Christmas Market vendor booths will be set up throughout the Equine Center’s main building and outside on the back patio. Mimosas, hot cocoa and more cash-bar beverages will be served to shoppers, and a food truck will be on-site, as well. Several vendors also donated gifts to raffle off as door prizes, with winners announced and notified at the end of the event.

“Vendors across the state of Louisiana and local shoppers alike have been looking forward to the Christmas Market,” Fryer said. “Shopping locally at events like the Christmas Market is so impactful. Patronizing local small businesses is always important, and attendees will leave with treasures that can’t be found elsewhere or at big chain stores. We’re thrilled to host this event for the first time and can’t wait to see the turnout.”
