Rural Economic Development Innovation Initiative (REDII)

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has received a USDA grant and launched the Rural Economic Development Innovation Initiative (REDII). As part of this initiative, they are hosting roadshows across rural parishes in Acadiana. Workshops have already been held in Abbeville and Crowley, and the next stop will be here in St. Landry Parish.

The REDII ROADSHOW is coming to town! If you’re an entrepreneur, small business owner, or have an idea you’ve been sitting on… you do NOT want to miss this.
The Rural Economic Development and Innovation (REDII) Roadshow is a FREE, interactive workshop designed to help you turn your ideas into real, thriving businesses.
Here’s what you can expect:

- Training on e-commerce and intellectual property
- Real tools to help you grow and succeed
This initiative, funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, brings resources from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette straight to our community in St. Landry Parish.
